Remodelers

Remodeling Marketing and SEO for Remodelers

Remodeling marketing for the homeowners planning a kitchen, a bath or new siding, and searching for weeks before they call.

Remodeling marketing is a long game. A homeowner planning a kitchen or a full exterior looks at photos, reads, compares three or four companies and only then reaches out. So the job is to show up again and again during that research, in the map near your showroom and in the search results for each town you serve.

For remodelers I build deep service pages for kitchens, baths and additions or roofing, siding and windows, town pages written about each town's houses, and a Google Business Profile with categories that match. Below are two South Jersey remodelers I work with.

A remodeler at #1 on Google Maps for kitchen remodeling

A kitchen, bath and addition remodeler moved off Webflow to a new site I built, live on August 30, 2026, with 48 redirects so nothing was lost. I wrote 39 town pages one town at a time, started a blog, rewrote the homepage and service pages, and wired the contact form into the CRM with a spam filter.

Remodeling is a considered purchase, so I watch position and map coverage first. Those moved fast.

Town pages rebuilt to answer what homeowners ask

A roofing, siding, window and door company became a client in July 2026. I moved its site to a new static build, live on August 31, and filled out its Google Business Profile with 4 categories, 20 service areas and 30 services.

In September I rebuilt its 37 busiest town pages. Each went from roughly 330 to 700 words to between 1,600 and 1,950, with the town's neighborhoods, local permit information and nine answered homeowner questions. All 74 town pages are still live. It is early, so I am not posting results for this one yet.

Marketing for Remodelers

Marketing for remodelers has to answer the questions people ask before they spend real money: how long a kitchen takes, what permits the town needs, what a design-build firm does that a general contractor doesn't. Pages that answer those plainly rank, and they make the first call easier because the homeowner already trusts you. I write those pages from the questions remodelers hear in the first meeting, and I pair them with real project photos, because a homeowner spending five figures wants to see the last kitchen you finished, not a stock image.

SEO for Remodelers

SEO for remodelers leans on the showroom. The map pack around your showroom is where you win first, so I tune the profile categories (remodeler, kitchen remodeler, bathroom remodeler and the rest) and match each one to a page. One remodeler client now shows at all 49 points of its map grid for kitchen remodeling and ranks first at its own showroom. The next layer is the town pages for the areas around the showroom, written about each town's houses, so a homeowner three towns over still finds you in the organic results after the map pack has faded with distance.

Remodeling Town Pages

Town pages for remodelers talk about the houses: when they were built, what people redo first, what the town requires. One remodeler's town pages reached page one for home remodeling searches in nearby towns within a month of launch, at positions 4 to 7.5. Each page links to its neighboring towns, so the pages support one another instead of competing. I add towns one at a time, starting with the ones the showroom already pulls customers from, and I leave out any town you would not take a job in.

What I do for remodeling companies

  • Deep pages for kitchens, baths, additions or exterior work
  • Town pages about each town's housing and permits
  • Google profile categories matched page by page
  • Project photo galleries and a blog that answers real questions
  • Spam-filtered lead form into your CRM

FAQ

Questions remodelers ask me

Why do my remodeling leads take so long to come in?

Because remodeling is planned. Homeowners research for weeks. Good pages and a strong profile keep you in front of them the whole time, so you are on the short list when they are ready.

Should kitchens and baths have separate pages?

Yes. They are separate searches with separate questions, and a single remodeling page rarely ranks for either.

Do I need a blog?

For remodelers it helps, because homeowners read before they buy. Articles that answer real planning questions bring in visitors who become leads later.

How do you measure results if leads are slow?

Position, map coverage and how often you are shown move first. Calls and form sends follow. I report all of them so you can see the order.

Can you help an exterior remodeler, roofing, siding and windows?

Yes. One of the remodelers on this page is exactly that, and two of my roofing clients do siding and windows as well.

Do you work with remodelers outside New Jersey?

Yes, anywhere in the US. The method is the same; the towns and the housing stories change.

Want to know how your remodeling company shows up?

I will check your map coverage, your pages and your profile, and tell you what I would fix first. Free.
