Home Service Marketing for Gutter, Fence, Cabinet and Countertop Companies

Home service marketing that gets you found, answers the call and shows you which leads came from where.

Home service marketing covers a lot of trades, and each one is searched a little differently. Gutter customers want someone this week. Fence customers compare materials and price. Cabinet and countertop shoppers visit a showroom. What they share is that almost every search has a town in it, and almost every customer calls one of the first companies they see.

So the work is the same core every time: a Google Business Profile set up for the trade, service and town pages that answer real questions, fast answering, and tracking that ties each lead to where it came from. Here is what that has done for four of my clients.

Gutter company · South Jersey, NJ

A gutter company that answers every call and books the job

A gutter contractor in South Jersey was losing after-hours calls to voicemail and had a site Google barely showed. I started with its lead capture in April 2026, so every call and form landed in one place and got counted, with a lead dashboard and call tracking on top. In late June I rebuilt the site with 5 service pages and 22 town pages, fixed the Google Business Profile, and put an AI voice receptionist on the phone line around the clock. It answers, gets the details and books the estimate onto the calendar. I also built an estimate tool with e-sign and invoicing.

The appointment count runs from that April start. When I recounted the leads in October I took out every hang-up, robocall and wrong number. What is left is real.

  • Rebuild with 5 service pages and 22 town pages
  • Google Business Profile fixed and filled out
  • AI voice receptionist answering and booking 24/7

Fence company · Tampa Bay, FL

From relaunch to 45 estimate requests a month

A residential fence company covering four Tampa Bay counties relaunched with me at the end of March 2026. I built county and city pages, service hubs and structured data, a blog that published about ten articles a month, a chat assistant that books estimates, online scheduling routed by county, phone tap tracking and a lead dashboard.

I worked on it through July 2026. The numbers below are from April through July.

  • County and city pages across four Tampa Bay counties
  • Blog publishing about ten articles a month
  • Chat assistant and online scheduling that book the estimate
  • Lead dashboard and phone tap tracking
85estimates booked on the spot in 4 months, from 121 requests (April to July 2026)
2.6xmore clicks from Google in 3 months (100 to 261 a month)

Cabinet showroom · South Jersey, NJ

A cabinet showroom with its most calls from Google since June

A premium kitchen and bath cabinet showroom moved off WordPress to a new site I built, live on August 25, 2026, with every old URL redirected. I added 29 town pages, a blog and new service page titles, and overhauled the Google Business Profile: the main category was wrong, so I fixed it, then the description, services, posts, website link and address.

The lead form now goes to the CRM through a spam filter, and phone taps and form sends are tracked.

  • New site with a full 301 redirect map
  • 29 town pages and a blog
  • Google Business Profile category, services, posts and links fixed
  • Spam-filtered lead form and call tracking
2xwebsite visits from the Google profile in the first full month: 72 (Aug 1 to 27) to 145 (Sep 1 to 27)

Countertop showroom · South Jersey, NJ

A countertop showroom showing up four times as often on phones

A stone countertop showroom launched its new site with me in late August 2026: 29 town pages, a blog, 47 real job photos and its Google Business Profile set up.

It is a young site and clicks are still small, so I show what is moving: how often Google puts it in front of people searching on a phone.

4xmore often on phone searches in one month (28 to 120 a day, September 2026)
Halfof its September clicks from Google came from its blog articles (26 of 55)

Home Services Marketing Agency

As a home services marketing agency of one, I keep the client list to trades I can show results in: gutters, fence, cabinets, countertops, exteriors, roofing, painting and remodeling. You won't find HVAC, plumbing or pest control pages here, because I don't have results in those trades to show you yet. What you get is the same build every time: a Google Business Profile with the right categories, a page for each service and each town, fast answering and tracking that ties every lead to its source. The difference between trades is in the words, the season and the speed the customer expects, and that is what I adjust.

Gutter, Fence and Exterior Marketing

For the fast-decision trades like gutters and fence, speed wins. The site needs tap-to-call everywhere, and the phone needs to be answered. That is why my gutter client runs an AI receptionist 24/7 and my fence client booked estimates through chat and online scheduling. Gutter searches in New Jersey also dip every September and come back in the fall, so I report by season and get the pages indexed before the busy stretch rather than during it. For both trades the phone number and the estimate request sit at the top of every page, above the photos and the long copy.

Cabinet and Countertop Marketing

Showroom businesses win on the map near the showroom and on the town searches around it. The profile's main category has to be right, the photos have to be real, and the site has to make the visit easy. For one cabinet showroom, fixing the category and matching the site doubled the website visits coming from the profile. Showroom shoppers also read before they visit, so a blog that answers material and planning questions earns clicks a service page never will: for one countertop showroom, half of its September clicks from Google came from its articles.

FAQ

Questions home service companies ask me

Which home service trades do you work with?

Gutters, fence, cabinets, countertops, exteriors, roofing, painting and remodeling. I stick to trades where I have real results to show.

Do you work with HVAC, plumbing or pest control?

I don't have results in those trades yet, so I don't advertise for them. Request the free audit and I will tell you honestly whether I can help.

My business is seasonal. Will SEO still help?

Yes, but read the numbers by season. Gutter searches in New Jersey dip every September and come back in the fall. I show you the season so a slow month is not mistaken for a problem.

Do I need a showroom to rank in the map pack?

No. Service-area businesses rank too, but the map favors whoever is closest to the searcher. Town pages carry you farther out.

What does home service marketing include?

The Google profile, the website and its service and town pages, answering and lead alerts, and tracking. I start with whatever the audit says will bring calls fastest.

Can you show me the full numbers behind these results?

Yes. The Results page has every client's charts and sources, and I can walk you through any of them after your free audit.

Want to see where your home service company stands?

I will check your Google profile, your rankings and how your calls get answered, and send you what I would fix first. Free.
